We’re looking for captivating screenplays and pitches for short films that blow us away: interforum, the fringe programme for professional visitors and film enthusiasts at the interfilm Berlin Film Festival is now accepting entries for the 8th international Script Pitch competition. In 2020, CineSud is partner of the Script Pitch.
Script Pitch
At the heart of the interforum, the fringe program for professional visitors and film enthusiasts at interfilm Berlin, lies the International Script Pitch. For seven years now the program has been inviting the authors of innovative short films to Berlin to work on their screenplays and pitch them in a competition in front of an international jury after an intensive week of workshops and coaching.
Be part of an inspiring 4-days Script Lab, including a pitch training, informal meet & greet opportunities for film professionals and the pitching sessions in Berlin. The first confirmed script lab mentors of this year’s Script Lab are the Serbian dramatist and filmmaker Marijana Verhoef (Amsterdam, This is Not Happening) and the writer Sandra Stöckmann (DRUCK, Spotlight).
An industry jury will choose a winner who will be granted with €2.000 and acces to the CineSud Shorts Lab program 2021.
Apply now!
As of now, writers or writer-directors with live action or animation short film projects are welcome to apply. The deadline is 17th July 2020. Find more information on the International Script Pitch and the application form online.
