Film Talents to Cannes 2022

Film Talents to Cannes is a special networking program organized by CineSud and is taking place during SFC Rendez-Vous Industry - a market for short films. SFC Rendez-Vous Industry will take place 22-27.05.2022 and aims to bring film professionals from around the world to show their films, network, raise awareness of you as a filmmaker, and get inspiration for new projects.

SFC Rendez-Vous Industry, a Forum dedicated to short filmmakers, takes place at the heart of the Film Market. During one week, it offers participants to take part in a program of Professional Meetings, Workshops, Masterclasses and Panels - broaching different topics as distribution, festival strategy and co-production. SFC Rendez-Vous Industry aims to promote emerging talents and bring together both creation and the industry. Neither a selection nor a competition, the Short Film Corner (SFC Rendez-Vous Industry) - as a Film Market - is designed to boost networking between professionals.

Selection 2022

The following filmmakers from the Netherlands and Belgium are selected and receive the complete Film Talents to Cannes experience in our collection called CineSud | New Dutch Talent 2022.

Besides the filmmakers mentioned above, two filmmakers will be joining the program who won the participation during CineSud Film Pitch in 2019. Due to covid-19 it was not possible to visit the 2020- and 2021-edition of Cannes for them.
